Our conference

HigherEd PodCon

HigherEd PodCon

The conference built for the people who podcast in and about higher education — hosts, producers, and the marketing and communications teams telling their institution’s story. EdUp co-hosts it with our partners.

The next edition

July 14 – 15, 2027

MIT Samberg Conference Center, Cambridge, Massachusetts

Two days of hands-on audio craft, institutional strategy and community, with panoramic views over the Charles River.

Why a media company hosts a conference

The room where campus audio gets better.

Higher Ed PodCon exists because higher education has something to say and a growing number of people saying it. The conference gathers them: two days of sessions, live recordings and honest conversation about the craft of podcasting for colleges, universities and the companies that serve them.

EdUp is a co-host rather than the owner. We record live from the floor, host sessions, sit on the organizing committee, and help shape a programme that our partners and their communities build with us.

Everything practical — registration, session pitches, awards and sponsorship — lives on the PodCon site, which stays the source of truth for the event.
