Emily Cherkin, MEd., The Screentime Consultant, is also an associate professor at the University of Washington’s Evans School of Public Policy where she teaches a seminar on emerging policy issues around social media, data and privacy, and educational technology. She is also the author of The Screentime Solution: A Judgment-Free Guide to Becoming a Tech-Intentional Family and a former middle school English teacher. Emily is a parent to two teens.
