Dr. Jay Keehn

Dr. Jay M. Keehn was employed by Union Institute & University for eighteen years. During his tenure, he was instrumental in creating and implementing programs critical for student access and success through administrative roles as Director of M.Ed. program and Dean of Students. His portfolio in the latter included overseeing advising, academic tutoring, supplemental instruction, library, career services, veterans’ affairs, mental health counseling partnership, and ADA for which he was also the coordinator. Union Institute & University officially closed in June 2024.

Jay also started a monthly get-together call THE CLUB. Higher education professionals join to socialize and network, as well as discuss the purpose and value of Tomorrow’s Higher Education, as closures, openings, demographics, AI, new content delivery approaches, new federal policies, accreditation oversight, are all contributing to the mass changes to the higher education landscape (message Jay M.
