Leigh Goodson

CEO and President of Tulsa Community College

Under the leadership of Dr. Leigh Goodson since July 2014, Tulsa Community College has achieved significant milestones, including the successful launch of a $20-million campaign, the introduction of Oklahoma’s first “early college high school program”, and participation in the American Association of Community Colleges Pathways Project funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.

In 2021, during Dr. Goodson’s tenure, TCC won the AACC’s Award of Excellence in both the Student Success and Safety and Planning categories. The College was selected by the Aspen Institute and the Community College Research Center in 2023 for a first-of-its-kind initiative, called Unlocking Opportunity: The Post-Graduation Success and Equity Network.

Dr. Goodson earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Education Research and Evaluation from OSU, a Master of Science in Organizational Communication from Fort Hays State University in Hays, KS, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from OSU.
