Kumar Garg is the President of Renaissance Philanthropy and has been a leader in shaping the education science and technology landscape for nearly two decades. As part of the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, he led efforts train 100,000 STEM teachers, expand computer science access to all K-12 students and he set budget and policy priorities across a wide range of innovation areas. Kumar also spearheaded iconic events like the White House Science Fair. He has worked with Schmidt Futures to launch ambitious initiatives in education, support groundbreaking ideas, and build multi-donor and multi-sector collaborations.
