Dr. Felder-Small is an academic with more than 20 years of experience and knowledge of higher education research and college and university environments. For approximately ten years, she taught within private and public institutions and held the title of Associate Professor, teaching and developing courses for both graduate and undergraduate students. All of the courses she taught included an online component with a focus on addressing social justice with a wide lens. Her research focuses on increasing awareness about the psycho-social experiences of Black doctoral students and degree completers.
