We welcome YOU back to America's leading higher education podcast, The EdUp Experience!
It’s YOUR time to #EdUp
NOTE: We had an audio challenge with this episode; Joe did not realize he was screaming into his mic (again) & we can’t fix it. Turn him down!
In this episode, YOUR guest is Dr. Angelita Howard, Assistant Dean for Online Education & Extended Programs at Morehouse School of Medicine, YOUR guest cohost is Geoffrey M. Roche, YOUR host is Dr. Joe Sallustio, & YOUR sponsor is LeadSquared!
There are many pathways within healthcare education that influence patients, technology, and healthy ecosystems. It's all about access and awareness according to Angelita. Find out why pathways to work are so important, why educating black men and women is so important to healthcare equity, and why focusing on retaining the black male student in today's higher ed environment is so critical. Angelita speaks the truth in this episode of EdUp.
Dr. Howard holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music, Master’s degrees in both Education Administration and Teaching, a Doctorate in Education Administration, a Master of Business Administration in Project Management, & more recently a Graduate Certificate in Health Informatics. She has 17 years of experience in post-secondary level instruction, during which she has designed & delivered curriculum in the areas of education, research, leadership, & business.
Thank YOU so much for tuning in. Join us on the next episode for YOUR time to EdUp!
