A.D. Carson is an award-winning performance artist and educator from Decatur, Ill. His work focuses on race, literature, history, rhetorics and performance. He received a Ph. D. in Rhetorics, Communication, and Information Design at Clemson University.
A.D. released the first peer-reviewed rap album ever published by an academic press in 2020. i used to love to dream U-M Press!
